Villages

In the vicinity of Jobsbo Vandrarhem there are some beautiful old villages, where time seems to stand still. The towns and villages here are also largely untouched and genuinely as they were. In these villages you will find red wooden houses which are typical for Dalarna.

Söderbärke is a small village on the Barken lake which offers you beautiful views. The church and the hembyggsgård on the edge of the lake are worth visiting. Continue your route from Söderbärke to Jobsbo Vandrarhem and go along nostalgic villages as Korsheden, Larsbo, Vibberbo, Stimmerbo and Torrbo. Some of these villages are included in the Ekomuseum.

North of our Vandrarhem are nearby villages as Furbo, Getbo, Finnbo, Åsmansbo and Matsbo. Try a bicycle tour through the forests and ride from one village to another.
